This a large unglazed Taiwanese dark coloured clay teapot, it has a ceramic mesh filter inside to prevent leaves going through the spout into your cup. It has a side handle style similar to the Japanese Yokode Kyusu, however this style of teapot has a history dating much further back in ancient China. This teapot is the ideal size for for brewing for 3+ people or for 2 people with larger cups.

Some notes on this product:

• This is made of unglazed Taiwanese clay, this means it will subtly affect the taste of the tea brewed in it, and will over time pickup oils from the tea affecting the taste.
• This teapot was made in Taiwan.
• Currently the only available design is that pictured.
• Rinse several times with hot water before use to wash off any dust leftover from manufacture.
• To clean rinse with hot water (boiling water is ideal), dab the exterior dry with a clean tea towel, shake any water inside out, then leave to air-dry with the lid off.
• Not microwave or dishwasher safe.
• Do not use detergent to wash this teapot, hot (ideally boiling) water is enough.
