Pine Needle Wakoucha
$17.80 – $35.60
Pine Needle Wakoucha (和紅茶) means Japanese Red (Black) tea, and that’s exactly what this is. This tea has the typical black tea taste, but with unique characteristics specific to Japanese tea, it has a slight after-aroma of watermelon, it also has a very strong viscous honey-like texture in the mouth, this is sometimes found in other black teas but this is the strongest I’ve ever felt it.
This tea will go bitter very quickly if left too long or using too much leaf to water, so be careful when brewing.
