This is an octagonal wooden tea tray or cha pan (茶盘), this is used to place your cups, teapots and other teaware when brewing gongfucha style. Holes in the lid allow water poured over the teapot or rinses of tea to pool in the bottom compartment to be emptied later.

Depicted on the lid are bamboo plants and a poem.

Some notes on this product

• It has a diameter of 30cm.
• This is made of bamboo, if water is left inside for long periods of time mould or decay of the material can occur so please remove any tea debris, empty of liquid and allow to air dry between uses.
• This was made in Yixing, China.
• There is only 1 of this product available
• The packaging is not in pristine condition as this has been in storage for quite a while.
• Not dishwasher safe.
• There may be some minor blemishes leftover from manufacture, including a green smudge and a red 5 on the bottom.
• This was inherited from Ya-Ya Teahouse.
