This is a large rectangular bamboo tea tray or cha pan (茶盘), this is used to place your cups, teapots and other teaware on when brewing gongfucha style. Holes in the lid allow water poured over the teapot or rinses of tea to pool in the plastic drawer that slots in below the tray that can be easily pulled out and emptied after use. This tea tray also has a tap with a stopper that you can attach a hose to to allow excess water to drain into a bucket or bottle setup below the table.

Some notes on this product

• The dimensions are approximately 58x36x8cm
• This is made of bamboo, if water is left on it or in the plastic drawer for long periods of time mould or decay of the material can occur so please remove any tea debris, empty of liquid and allow to air dry between uses.
• This was made in China.
• There are 2 of these available, they may have differences so I will relist when the one photographed is sold.
• The cardboard packaging may not be the original packaging and is in somewhat shabby condition as it has been stored for a long time.
• Not dishwasher safe.
• There may be some minor blemishes leftover from manufacture.
• This was inherited from Ya-Ya Teahouse.
