Dian Hong Ya (Yunnan Red Tips) is a red/black tea made from the skinny golden buds and small leaves plucked from young tea bushes in Yunnan.
It brews a clear yellow liquor and has fruity, mild, honey-like tasting notes. It’s not quite as strong as the average red/black tea but still gives you the kick you expect.
A great choice if you want something much more tasteful and not as one-dimensional as the low-grade black tea you’re used to.
