This is a large mug called a yunomi handcrafted in Japan from high-fired Minoyaki Porcelain. It’s perfect for grandpa brewing or for holding all the tea made in a larger teapot. I like to drink 2 infusions of sencha from my 200ml kyusu at once in this yunomi.

Some notes on this product:

• Because it’s made of porcelain, a neutral material, it won’t affect the taste of the tea like unglazed materials might.
• This mug was handcrafted in Japan.
• The design on each mug is slightly different as they are each unique.
• Before using for the first time rinse the mug with hot water to wash-off any residue left-over from manufacturing or packaging.
• To clean rinse with hot water (boiling water is ideal), and dry quickly with a clean tea towel. Wash shortly after use to avoid any stains (but if there are stains you can easily scrub them out).
• Microwave and dishwasher safe
• Suitable for hot drinks.
