2021 Menghai Shou Pu’er
$12.30 – $44.30
This is small 2021 batch of shou pu’er composed of a blend of leaves from Bulang Shan and Meng Song village, that were thoroughly fermented and do not have the wet storage notes common with some hei cha. It brews a nice red, but if you leave it it will turn black like coffee and be similarly strong and bitter. It’s quite sweet, and a little fruity, I chose this as our first Shou Pu’er to be inoffensive to those who might not like the wet storage fishy smells, let me know what you think!
